Privacy Automation
Privacy Automation
Privacy teams have been given an impossible task: to govern well and move fast in an environment of limited resources and constant change. As a privacy professional, you’ve never been able to do both. Now you can. AI removes the tradeoff.
Privacy teams face constant regulatory change and growing strategic demands from their business but lack the resources to scale. Slow governance hinders the business, while speed risks compliance — until now. Our AI empowers privacy teams to govern at the speed of the business, scaling compliance and ensuring responsible use of data and AI.
Autonomous AI agents help privacy teams scale by automating processes like incident response and privacy impact assessments. Much of this work is time-consuming and repetitive, including information gathering, Q&A with stakeholders, and comparing business context to policies and regulations. Agents are purpose-built to handle most of these processes, bringing in people once it’s time to review insights or make decisions.
Breach Response Agent
Detects and analyzes data breaches to generate guidance for the privacy team on how to meet breach response requirements.
Risk Assessment Agent
Detects changes in data sources, collects business context, and flags risks and recommendations for the privacy team to address with the business.
Additional agents for privacy, compliance, risk, and policy management are in development across the OneTrust Platform.
Embedded into your existing processes, AI-assisted workflows automate time-consuming tasks like responding to questionnaires for Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).
AI Document Scanning
Auto-populates assessments with information from external documentation such as business plans, product documentation, contracts, and security certifications.
AI Inventory Analysis
Auto-populate assessments by referencing existing inventory records and assessments in the OneTrust Data Map.

Policies: Our AI models are not trained on your data. Where future use cases may be improved by training on your data, clear opt-in will be required.
Technical Guardrails: Automated Workflows can be turned on and off at the feature level and are off by default. Agents only have access to certain APIs, controlling which actions they can take. These can also be turned off at any time.
Human Guardrails: Automated Workflows and Agents are designed to bring humans into the loop at key points in processes or when key thresholds (e.g., risk) are met.
Explainability: Each step in the process and decision made by an Agent is captured and annotated.
