How do I register for a specific course? 

To register for our certification courses please click on 'Start learning now’. You will need to log into your My.onetrust.com account before being redirected to our OneTrust University platform. If you don’t currently have a My.onetrust.com login, please reach out to your Account Manager or email Sales@onetrust.com ^

 

What do I do if I don’t have a My.onetrust.com login?  

If you don’t currently have a My.onetrust.com login, please click on the Create an Account link to create your own account. You can also reach out to your Account Manager or email Sales@onetrust.com.  ^

 

How do I take a certification if I am not a customer or partner? 

To provide an even more tailored learning experience, the OneTrust Certification Program will now be available exclusively to verified OneTrust Customers and Partners. This ensures that we are delivering top-quality training to those who are actively engaged in OneTrust solutions as well as to protect our propriety OneTrust content.

Can I use my personal email address to self-register to courses? 

You can indeed use your personal email address, as long as it is linked to a verified Customer/Partner account. ^

 

How can I enrol in the exam to achieve my OneTrust certification?  

Once you fully attend/complete a training session and complete the course survey, your exam will become available on your OneTrust University account.  The exam must be completed within 7 calendar days of attending the course.  ^

 

What do I need for the training?  

Please be prepared with a WIFI compatible laptop or device with a charging cord. This is to ensure you can fully participate in all our hands-on exercises. We also highly encourage having at least two screens, one for the course/webinar, one for the Hands-on Lab. Once you launch the course, a Hands-on Lab will be assigned to you automatically. Access to the Hands-on Lab will expire after 7 calendar days from the time you launched the course.  

Please note – we are unable to extend this access under any circumstance.  ^

 

Do OneTrust courses qualify for CPE credits?   

Our OneTrust certification courses are worth a number of continuing education credit hours for attending. Continuing Privacy Education (CPE) credits from our Privacy courses may only be redeemed if you already hold an IAPP certification and our Tech Risk and Compliance courses provide credits that can be redeemed if you hold an OCEG GRCP certification and/or IAPP certification. Upon course completion, you will be able to download the CPE form that contains instructions on how to claim these credits. How do I get my Trust Fellow Badge? 

Starting March 1, 2025, our learning program is evolving from a general to a solution-specific focus. Therefore, the Trust Fellow designation will be phased out and will no longer be offered beyond this date. Instead, Track Badges will become the highest level of achievement, signifying the completion of all certificates within a learning track.  ^

 

How do I take one of the advanced courses? 

Once you have completed the specific prerequisite, the advanced course you wish to take will be available for self-enrolment.  ^

 

How do I access Hands-on Labs? 

Your Hands-on lab will be triggered once you enrolled into your desired instructor led or e-learning course. This can take up to 5 minutes.  ^

 

How long will I have access to the Hands-on lab? 

Once your Hands-on lab is launched, you will have access to it for 7 calendar days.  ^

I am a customer/partner, but my account has been deactivated, can you reactivate my account?

To reactivate your account on OneTrust University, please contact your account manager for them to update your status on your account. Once updated, your OneTrust University account should be reactivated with 72 hours. ^

 

I am a customer/partner, but the email account I have been using is not linked to my OneTrust customer/partner account, can it be changed? 

We can change your email on your OneTrust University account to reflect the one used on your customer/partner account. To do so, please email training@onetrust.com^

How do update my OT Uni profile to reflect my new customer/partner status? 

Once your status in Salesforce is verified customer or partner, this information will automatically be transferred to your account in OneTrust University. Although this should be an instant transfer, it could take up to 5 working days.  ^

How do I merge my accounts? 

To merge your account, please send us a request to training@onetrust.com and we will be happy to assist you.  ^

How do I download a certificate?

How do I earn a badge? 

You can earn a Track badge after completing all the certification courses of a learning track. Please click on the following link to see the different courses in each learning track.  ^

How do I accept my badge?

How do I change an ILT session I registered for? 

You can unenroll yourself any time before the session starts, to enrol yourself into the desired date.   ^

 

How do I change an eLearning session I registered for? 

You can unenroll yourself any time within 7 calendar days of enrolment, to enrol yourself into the desired date.  ^

What do I do if the ILT/eLearning course I want to register for is full? 

If a course is full, you will be able to be placed on waiting lists so that you can be added to the session if a person cancels their enrolment . ^
